Overview

Welcome to the Osa Peninsula — the most biologically intense place on Earth, home to 2.5% of the planet's entire biodiversity.

Here, scarlet macaws glide above rainforest canopies, sea turtles nest on moonlit beaches, and every sound reminds you that nature still runs the show.

This retreat was built for those who give so much — vets, conservationists, students, and everyday nature lovers — to finally give something back to both the planet and themselves.

It’s part hands-on conservation mission, part wellness reset, part community.

Veterinarians can also earn 10 hours of RACE-approved continuing education (CE) credit, making this retreat as professionally rewarding as it is personally rejuvenating.

You’ll leave with a full heart, restored energy, and a renewed sense of purpose.

THE EXPERIENCE:

Base yourself at the Osa Conservation Campus, a working research hub tucked deep in the jungle, 50 minutes from Puerto Jiménez.

Wake to howler monkeys. Walk from rainforest to lab in a single breath. Dine alongside scientists, wildlife vets, and local conservationists working on the frontline.

Every day blends purposeful fieldwork with intentional rest — because real impact starts with people who aren’t running on empty.

This retreat is rare collaboration between The Global Protagonists and Veterinary Wellness Retreats — a restorative field experience designed to care for those who care for the planet
